Next flash The movie has had its fair share of controversy surrounding it, as the movie featuring the Scarlet Speedster has been delayed several times since it was initially confirmed. While the movie will bring back Michael Keaton’s version of the Dark Knight, it will also go on to appear within the universe that began with Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel, dubbed “Snyder-Verse.” In this movie link, a new familiar villain from the DC Comics lore has made it into the world of cinema.
Flash: Fastest Man Alive is a new mini-series that follows the premiere superhero in Central City, and takes place in the aftermath of the events of Justice Squad the movie and before Barry Allen received his first official solo movie. In the first release, Scarlet Speedster tries to stop the weapon’s triggering process but finds himself facing a new iteration of an opponent that Flash fans may be familiar with. The Rogues have long expanded their roster over the decades to challenge the Flash and one of the newest members was introduced in 2001 via the force known as Girder, a former steelworker who gained powers after falling into a bowl filled with molten steel.
While the comics see Gerder as a pure villain through and through, the movie world sees a conflicting super-villain doing nefarious jobs to keep his father alive and pay for his medical expenses. This is quite a departure from his original looks as Tony Woodward, Gerder’s original alias, seemed to care nothing about those around him and enjoyed using his abilities to torture innocent bystanders and annoy the Flash.
The battle between Girder and Flash ends with Barry winning, though Flash takes the opportunity to make sure Girder’s father receives the transplant he needs to survive, which could cause Girder to see the lighter side as trouble approaches.
Another interesting aspect Flash: Fastest Man Alive The role is played by Ben Affleck’s Batman, with this version of the Dark Knight returning to help Barry by not only facing the Girder but also training in learning how to fight. Since The Flash relied mostly on his super speed, not knowing how to throw a punch, this only increased the power in Barry’s arsenal.
